Normandy Park Swim Team

In conjunction with the Greater Seattle Summer Swim League, NPSC has a competitive swim program for NPSC members. At Normandy Park Swim Club, our mission is to foster a love for swimming, build water confidence, and create a vibrant community where every splash counts. Through expert instruction, spirited competition, and sun-soaked camaraderie, we empower swimmers of all ages and skill levels to grow stronger, swim smarter, and have fun. We believe summer is the perfect time to dive into new challenges, celebrate progress, and make waves—both in and out of the pool.

Speedy Sixer Program

To be eligible for the Speedy Sixer Program:

  • Swimmers must be age 5 or 6 as of June 15
  • Swimmer must be able to swim the length of the pool using any stroke without assistance of the lane line or wall.
  • If you want your speedy sixer to swim as an 8 and under, contact the head coach to determine if eligible to swim up. Swim team fees will apply.
  • Swim at home meets only.
  • Can choose which strokes to swim at the meet
    • 25 yard Freestyle between events 24 and 25
    • 25 yard Stroke of Choice between events 34 and 35–swimmers pick which stroke they want to swim

Swim Team Sleepover

Team Suit & Apparel

As always, a team suit is completely optional. Suits will not be available for purchase at the pool. Suits and gear are avialble to purchase through our team store with DJ sports.

We trial suits for swimmers to try on if you are unsure of what size to order for them. Please ask the guards in the office for the suits.

Please remember the following while trying on suits:

  • All tags need to remain on the suits
  • Please have your child wear their underwear while trying them on

Swim Team Sleepover

We are changing it up this year to make the sleepover an earlier event! The annual sleepover for swim team members will take place after the FIRST Home Meet of the season (June 25th).

All team members must have a permission slip and fee paid to participate. Swimmers under 13 must have a designated adult sleeping at the pool that is responsible for them.

Please complete this form prior to the sleepover. Without a form, your swimmer will not be allowed to stay.

Volunteers shifts will be available on teamunify.
